# TFU Live master families

> Read or set the relationship between campaigns that share one TFU Live agent.

A TFU Live master family records the parent and child relationship between
campaigns that share one agent. It does not copy campaign or agent settings.

## Read the current relationship

Use [Read TFU Live master campaign families](/api-reference/tfu-live/read-tfu-live-master-campaign-families)
for the sub-account. This requires `campaigns:read` and an agency administrator.
Inspect the returned relationship before changing it. A removed or rebound
campaign is reported as needing attention; it never silently joins another agent.

## Set the relationship

Use [Set TFU Live master campaign family](/api-reference/tfu-live/set-a-tfu-live-master-campaign-family)
with `campaigns:write` and the intended campaigns. Each must belong to the
sub-account and share the same TFU Live profile. Read the saved relationship
back to verify it.

For general setup, see [Build a TFU Live agent](/tfu-live/authoring).
For the wider product, see [Master Agent](/master-agent/overview).
